CHRISTIAN LEADERS - Where is your commitment to Christ and the Gospel?

The Rev.Chris Wickland is a leader in the Confessing Anglican Church and has today put out a video where he is calling ALL CHRISTIAN LEADERS to get a BACKBONE and to call out the ungodly nature of what is going on in our country, and particularly with Illegal Migrants entering Great Britain. Let me just share with you some of the words of David Pawson when he once spoke at a seminar on Habakkuk from the Bible before he died:

1. How do you feel about our nation?
2. How burdened are you?
3. How concerned are you?
4. Do you find a way in your religion of recharging that enables you to escape the world because you find it daunting?
5. Habakkuk was a man who felt this very deeply, and his spirit cried out to God about it - does yours?
6. Habakkuk was honest with God; he said what was on his heart.

Rev.Chris Wickland, too, is pouring out his heart to God, seeking the restoration of godliness in this land, and he is prepared to stand against all unrighteousness and ungodliness. He is very much alone because Christians appear to be evading confrontation. Chris asks us all to remember our calling as Christians to stand up for truth and confront evil. But too many Christians seem to prefer instead to ignore the evil that is taking place right before their eyes in this nation. ARE YOU?

According to the website of the Confessing Anglican Church, Bishop Primus, The Most Revd Dr Charles Travis says that the church must be rooted in:

• Mission that is bold and Spirit‑filled, reaching the lost and strengthening the faithful.

Let me leave you with a question:

Why do you think Chris Wickland felt that he could no longer serve in the Anglican church in Britain, thus causing him to leave the church and join the Confessing Anglican Church?
